5 Reasons to Join our Gateway to Homeopathy Study Group

When I first started hosting Gateway to Homeopathy study groups I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know how far reaching the benefits would be. I only knew that I needed to start. Just start "the thing" no matter what it looked like.

On her blog and in her podcasts, homeopath Joette Calabrese is always promoting learning homeopathy in groups, study groups to be exact.

I have picked five reasons from my experience for why I believe study groups are an important part of your success in learning homeopathy.

#1 Finding like-minded individuals

Sharing in the experiencing of how you came to homeopathy and what brought you to this place looks different for everyone, but the goal is always the same- true health and let it be natural.

#2 People who speak your language

Yes, literally. Homeopathic medicines are all in Latin and it's always nice to have people around you that understand you when you say "I just purchased Hypericum Perforatum and Aurum Metallicum today."

Study groups are where you can practice your new language skills.

There's also terms and definitions pertaining to the homeopathic world that you will want to dig deeper in, such as: what is a materia medica, a repertory, a rubric, potencies, frequencies, and more.

Reviewing and exercising your new found knowledge in a study group has benefits.

#3 Deep Discussion and Conversation

Each week we will discuss the homework and dive into homeopathic success stories, learn our remedies, ask questions that are important to you, and get answers.

Learning from each other is important and sharing our success stories solidifies what we are learning and seeing it play out in real life situations.

#4 Resources

There are some amazing places to order your homeopathic remedy kits, and single remedies from. There are liquid remedies and different size pills to consider when ordering. Some places sell lactose and sucrose pills, some are just sucrose, some are organic and vegan. There's different size bottles and the quantity of pills held in each bottle to consider. Questions will be answered such as which one is right for you, how do I order when I have to choose: form, potency, and size?

Book lists! There are so many great books you will want to immediately add to your homeopathic library and we have some great recommendations and where to purchase.

#5 Accountability and consistency

This is a big one. Putting a study group meeting on your calendar ensures you are going to show up. You're going to do the work. You're going to make this a priority. It won't just be a fleeting thought of, "Oh how nice that would be to learn homeopathy." You're actually going to get it done.

You're going to start " the thing" and accomplish it.

So let's get started together!
